The one-minute version

|---|---|

| Nafa | Our trading app — buy and sell PSX stocks from your phone. Trading is live. Research on Ticker Analysts, execute on Nafa. |
| The broker behind Nafa | Chase Securities, an SECP-licensed securities broker and PSX TREC holder. Every Nafa account is a Chase Securities account. |
| The waitlist | Our queue for rolling out access to Nafa in controlled batches. When your turn comes you get a welcome email, and can then apply to open your account. |
| The Founders Club | Early supporters who joined the waitlist during the early-access window (now closed). They keep the 0.15% commission forever. |
| Fees | Nafa charges a 0.15% commission per trade. Everything else is standard PSX/NCCPL/CDC charges that are the same at every broker. |
Now the longer answers.
What is Ticker Analysts?
Ticker Analysts is a research platform for the Pakistan Stock Exchange. It's where you figure out what to buy and when: screen every listed company by fundamentals, track price and volume signals, check Shariah compliance, follow company announcements with AI-generated summaries, and read financial statements in a form that actually makes sense.
Ticker Analysts does not execute trades. It's the research half of the picture.
If you're new to the stock market entirely, start with our beginner's guide to investing in PSX.
What is Nafa?
Nafa is our trading app — the execution half. It lets you buy and sell PSX stocks from your phone: open an account, fund it from any Pakistani bank via Raast, and trade every company listed on the exchange.
Trading on Nafa is now live. If you've opened your account with us, you already have trading access.
Nafa is built so you don't need any other app alongside it:
- Full portfolio analytics. Your holdings, performance, and profit and loss all live inside Nafa — no separate portfolio tracker needed.
- Transparent order breakdowns. Every order shows the complete breakdown of fees and commission, so you know exactly what you're paying on top of the share price.
- Good-till-cancel (GTC) orders. Set your price once and Nafa keeps the order active — it executes whenever the price hits, on any day. No re-placing the same order every morning.
The two products are built to work together:
Ticker Analysts is where you research. Nafa is where you trade.
You don't need one to use the other, but they're designed as a pipeline — find the opportunity on Ticker Analysts, act on it in Nafa.
Who is the broker behind Nafa?
Nafa partners with Chase Securities, an SECP-licensed securities broker and a TREC (Trading Right Entitlement Certificate) holder on the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
Concretely, that means:
- When you open a Nafa account, you are opening (or linking) a Chase Securities account that Nafa executes trades on.
- Your trades execute on the Pakistan Stock Exchange through Chase Securities.
- Your shares are held in your own CDC sub-account — not by Nafa, and not in anyone else's name.
- Settlement of every trade is guaranteed by NCCPL, the national clearing company.
So the full regulated chain behind every Nafa trade is: Nafa (the app) → Chase Securities (the broker) → PSX (the exchange) → NCCPL (clearing) + CDC (custody).

What is the waitlist?
We are rolling out access to Nafa in controlled batches rather than opening the doors to everyone at once. This lets us keep account opening, support, and trading quality high while we scale.
The waitlist is simply the queue for that rollout. Here's how it works from start to finish:
- Join the waitlist. This reserves your place in line.
- Wait for your welcome email. When your turn is reached, we send you a welcome email — this is your signal that access is open for you.
- Submit your account-opening application. Once you have the welcome email, you can apply to open your Nafa account.
Being on the waitlist doesn't require anything from you in the meantime — there's no application to fill out and no documents to prepare until the welcome email arrives.
How long is the wait? Not long. As of this writing, we expect to clear the entire waitlist within the next week or two — if you're on it, your welcome email is close.
One important clarification, because this causes the most confusion: being on the waitlist today does not make you a Founders Club member. The Founders Club was an early-access group that is now closed — the current waitlist is purely about getting access to the app. More on that next.
What is the Founders Club?
The Founders Club is our way of thanking the people who believed in Nafa earliest. It's made up of users who joined the waitlist during the early-access window. That window has now closed — Founders Club membership can no longer be earned, including by joining the waitlist today.
Founders Club members get one permanent benefit: their commission stays at 0.15% forever. In the future, we plan to introduce a paid version of Nafa with updated pricing. Founders Club members are exempt — their trading commission will remain at 0.15% no matter what.
If you joined the waitlist during the early-access window, you're in — there's nothing extra you need to do.
What does trading on Nafa cost?
Nafa charges one fee: a 0.15% commission per trade. That's it from our side — no account fees, no monthly charges, no hidden costs. For context, 0.15% is the minimum of the commission band PSX allows; most brokers charge between 0.15% and 0.50%.
On top of commission, every trade on PSX — through any broker — carries small statutory charges from the exchange (PSX), the clearing company (NCCPL), the depository (CDC), and provincial sales tax. Those are identical across all brokers and add up to only a few extra basis points.
For the complete line-by-line breakdown — every fee, every rate, and a worked example on a Rs. 100,000 trade — see PSX Trading Fees & Charges — What You Actually Pay Per Trade.
How do I open an account?
First, make sure you've received your welcome email — that's the green light to apply. If you're still on the waitlist, sit tight — it will reach you.
From there, the process depends on who you are — new investor, already with another broker, already with Chase Securities, or a non-resident Pakistani. We've written detailed guides for every path:
- Opening a Nafa Account — FAQs for Every Type of User — start here. It covers all six scenarios step by step.
- Common Nafa Account Opening Issues on the CGP Portal — if your application is stuck on the CGP / Asaan Connect portal, the fix is almost certainly in here.
- How to Find Your UKN Number on NCCPL — if you're asked for a UKN and don't know where to get it.
Still confused?
If your question isn't answered here or in the linked guides, email hello@tickeranalysts.com or reach out to support from inside the Nafa app. We'd rather answer the same question twice than leave you stuck.
